Welcome to CleverPetz. By downloading, accessing, or using our application and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using CleverPetz.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using CleverPetz, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

CleverPetz provides an AI-powered pet training application that includes:

• Real-time video analysis of training sessions
• A library of 28 commands including essentials, tricks, scent work, and dance
• Progress tracking, analytics, and emotional state analysis
• Nutrition planning, medication reminders, and daily scheduling
• Social sharing features for training moments

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use CleverPetz for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or violates the rights of others
• Attempt to reverse engineer, hack, or disrupt the app or its servers
• Use the app in any way that could damage or overburden our infrastructure
• Share your account credentials with others

5. Video and Content Uploads

By uploading training session videos, you grant CleverPetz a limited license to process and analyze that content for the purpose of providing AI feedback. You retain ownership of your content. We do not sell your videos or use them for advertising purposes.

6. AI Analysis Disclaimer

CleverPetz's AI analysis is designed to support and encourage positive training practices. It is not a substitute for professional animal training advice. Results may vary depending on video quality, lighting, and other factors. Always consult a professional trainer for complex behavioral issues.

7. Positive Reinforcement Commitment

CleverPetz is built on 100% positive reinforcement principles. Users agree to use the app in a manner consistent with humane, science-based training methods. Content that depicts animal abuse or harmful training practices is strictly prohibited and may result in account termination.

8. Subscription and Payments

Some features of CleverPetz may require a paid subscription. All purchases are subject to the pricing and terms presented at the time of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled prior to the renewal date. Refunds are handled in accordance with the applicable app store policies (Apple App Store or Google Play).

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of CleverPetz — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, icons, and AI models — are the exclusive property of CleverPetz and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the app will immediately cease.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CleverPetz shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data or training progress.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use of CleverPetz following notice of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
